Australian David Johnson will contest this year’s Ulster Grand Prix with the Wilson Craig, riding Honda machinery in the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport classes.

Johnson heads to Dundrod having enjoyed a hugely successful Isle of Man TT with Norton, with whom he managed a top seven finish in the RST Superbike race and the British manufacturers fastest ever lap of the 37.75-mile Mountain Course. The Aussie, who last rode for the team back in 2011, will ride a Wilson Craig-prepared CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR600RR at the ‘World’s Fastest Road Race’ next week.

I’m excited to get back with Wilson Craig as I rode for him in 2011 at the Sunflower,” Johnson stated. “His bike were always very well prepared and fast! I love the Ulster GP and I’m especially looking forward to racing the Honda Superbike! I’ve only ever raced Superstock bikes at the Ulster so I’m hoping I can give the boys a run at the front.”

The 2016 Ulster Grand Prix takes place from the 8th to 13th August.
